Spring Time Swimmin

These are pictures of Gianna, Katie, Beth, Johnny, and I from when we went swimming.

The 23rd Psalm This an eye opener.
We probably never thought nor looked at this psalm in this way, even though we say it over and over again.

The Lord is my Sheperd - That’s Relationship!

I shall not want - That’s Supply!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures - That’s Rest!

He leadeth me beside the still waters - That’s Refreshment!

He restoreth my soul - That’s Healing!

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness - That’s Guidance!

For his name sake - That’s Purpose!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death - That’s Testing!

I will fear no evil - That’s Faithfulness!

For Thou art with me - That’s Protection!

Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me - That’s Dicipline!

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies - That’s Hope!

My cup runneth over - That’s Abundance!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life - That’s Blessing!

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord - That’s Security!

The Starfish Story

The Starfish Story While walking down the beach, a man saw someone in the distance leaning down, picking something up and throwing it in the ocean. As he came closer, he saw thousands of starfish the tide had thrown onto the beach. Unable to return to the ocean during the low tide, the starfish were dying. He observed a young boy picking up the starfish one by one and throwing them back into the ocean. After watching the seemingly futile effort, the observer said, "There must be thousands of starfish on this beach. It would be impossible for you to save all of them. There are simply too many. You can’t possibly save enough to make a difference." The young boy smiled as he picked up another starfish and tossed it back into the ocean. "It made a difference to that one," he replied.

My Mountain

My Mountain At times it feels as though I am on a mountain made of ice. You are at the top shining bright and I am at the bottom trying to figure out how to get to you. I try and try to get up to you, but when I start to climb, I slide off. At times I want to quit, but don’t. Help me to never give up in my faith. Be with me through my obstacles and trials. Help me to climb my mountain and reach the best reward of all, You! Amen.
